. He was the 2014, 2016 and 2018 Republican Nominee for U.S. House of Representatives (Florida-CD23). Now that Hassan Shibly has resigned his position as Executive Director of CAIR-Florida, after his wife’s accusations of domestic violence, it has left CAIR-Florida Communications Director Wilfredo Ruiz in the top leadership position of the group, at least until the group names a new Executive Director. This should result in extra scrutiny for Ruiz, beginning with his recent social media postings copied from Muslim extremist Abdur Rahman al-Ghani, who refers to Jews as “demonic” and “the children of Satan,” and Ruiz’s own anti-Semitic ramblings. Up until now, Ruiz’s radical activity has been ignored by news networks that continue to interview him. Why?
. He was the 2014, 2016 and 2018 Republican Nominee for U.S. House of Representatives (Florida-CD23). For a while, Hassan Shibly was arguably the most prominent representative of CAIR. His work in such things as attempting to regain the American citizenship of ISIS bride Hoda Muthana and trying to convince the courts that the federal ‘terrorism watch list’ is unconstitutional brought Shibly much exposure in the media and made him a key draw at CAIR fundraisers around the US. All of that is gone now, as he has resigned his position as Executive Director of CAIR-Florida, following his wife’s accusations of him physically abusing her in front of their kids. And with a new investigation into the violence set to begin, this may only be the start of his troubles.
. He was the 2014, 2016 and 2018 Republican Nominee for U.S. House of Representatives (Florida-CD23). According to his bio on CAIR-Florida’s website, Hassan Shibly “is blissfully married,” but that all depends on which wife CAIR is talking about. On December 29th, Imane Sadrati, the legal wife of CAIR representative Hassan Shibly – as opposed to his new Islamically-sanctioned wife Vanessa – created a GoFundMe page asking for financial assistance, claiming that she suffered both physical and mental abuse at the hands of Shibly and that Shibly had cut off funds from her. The allegations appear to have been taken seriously, as Shibly has secured “a leave of absence” from CAIR, while an “independent assessment” ensues and investigates the matter.
