Mule Day, music and monster trucks on board for the weekend

This weekend offers one popular Mule Day event making its way to the stage, as well as some great live music and entertainment options to get out of the house.
1. Mule Day Auctioneers Championship
This weekend kicks off with an event that brings a little of the Mule Day spirit back with one of its more popular competitions.
The 2021 Mule Day Auctioneers Championship, begins at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Tennessee Livestock Sale Barn at 1231 Industrial Park Drive. The event also supports the Columbia Breakfast Rotary Club s College Scholarship.
Anyone taking a drive up to Nashville can also enjoy the Food Truck Feast in East Nashville, which UNATION ranked as one of Music City s Top 5 Stuff to Do events. The event, which begins at 3:15 p.m. Friday at 400 Davidson St., will feature live music, beer, a skyline view and shopping with local vendors at the indoor market on-site.
5. Live entertainment
Live music and entertainment is always a weekend staple, this week features a diverse lineup of country, pop and even some live poetry.
