A 27-year-old man died in jail Monday while awaiting sentencing for the murder of his ex-girlfriend on the Crow Indian Reservation last year, and the U.S. Attorney s Office in Montana is seeking to dismiss the case against him.
In a statement issued Tuesday afternoon, the U.S. Attorney s Office announced that it had been notified earlier in the day that Taylor Leigh Plain Bull died while in custody in Big Horn County, Wyoming.Â
Plain Bull had been facing up to life in prison after he admitted to killing 26-year-old Lenita Goes Ahead in October 2020 in an area along Blue Creek Road south of Billings on the Crow Indian Reservation.

A 28-year old Billings man who admitted chasing down, shooting and killing his ex-girlfriend on Blue Creek Road in October was found dead Monday in his Wyoming jail cell.
Big Horn County, Wyoming, Sheriff Kenneth Blackburn told Q2 News Tuesday that Taylor Lee Plain Bull was found unresponsive in his cell last night.
Blackburn said both jail and medical personnel tried unsuccessfully to revive him.
The sheriff said that although no foul play is suspected, authorities immediately contacted the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, which will now conduct an independent investigation into Plain Bullâs death.

FRANKFORT, IL Early voting has already started in Frankfort, and Election Day on April 6 is quickly approaching. There are several elections in Frankfort for village president, school districts, village trustee, township, park district, fire district, and library.
Not only will Frankfort residents decide who their next mayor is, but voters will also answer a non-binding advisory question from the Frankfort Park District about acquiring the Borg Warner plant.
According to the park district, the space would allow for a multitude of programming opportunities including rental and meeting space, turf fields, gymnasiums, swimming facilities, senior and teen drop-in-centers, fitness space and more.

At least that’s how it’s been the past few competitions. The DeFuniak Springs resident competed in Florida B.A.S.S. Nation’s tournament at Black Creek, where she caught two fish and then fished a second tournament at Lake Loch Loosa in Cross Creek, Florida, to qualify for the state tournament. There, she won the Co-Angler division and the Big Bass division with a catch that weighed 7.91 pounds.
