Thousands who braved the rain in Brisbane to add their voices to the national March 4 Justice protest joined a mass performance of a Chilean protest song about rape culture and gender-based hate crime.
After a minuteâs silence for women who had lost their lives to violence, the crowd chanted and danced to the English version of Un Violador en Tu Camino.

King George Square was packed with protesters for the march, one of many arranged around Australia following historical rape allegations made against Attorney-General Christian Porter, who has denied the claims.

Brisbane buildings and parks will be lit pink on Friday night to respect the memory of Hannah Clarke and her three young children – Aaliyah, 6, Laianah, 4, and Trey, 3 - who were murdered 12 months ago on Friday.
Lord mayor Adrian Schrinner said Brisbane City Council-owned facilities would be bathed in pink to respect the Clarke family.
“On Friday we acknowledge them and we will all recommit ourselves to doing better when it comes to stopping domestic violence, to halting domestic violence,” he said.
