NN MISSION MARATHON PUSHED BACK – The special all-elite NN Mission Marathon, originally scheduled for Sunday, April 11, in central Hamburg, has been pushed back a week to April 18, due to status of the pandemic in that area of Germany. In addition, race organizers need to move the race to another location. Frank Thaleiser, the managing director of event organizer MHV Running Events, said through a news release: “Of course we were quite disappointed at first, but we can understand the decision given the current situation. We are now putting all our efforts into the realization of the event at a different location and are optimistic that we will find a solution.” World record hol

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Organizers of the Cooper River Bridge Run announced Tuesday morning the annual event has been postponed until late September.
The race will now take place on Sept. 25, according to a release from the organization.
“We are hopeful that this change will allow for fewer limitations imposed by COVID-19 guidelines now that vaccines have begun to be distributed,” Cooper River Bridge Run Board Chairman David Bennett said. “It is with a deep sense of responsibility, we are choosing to proceed with caution to ensure a safe environment for all of the participants, volunteers, sponsors, frontline medical workers, law enforcement and others involved in making the Bridge R
