On April 21st, 2021, Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021 announced the global ranking of the universities making the positive impacts on the environment and society from a total of 1,115 universities from 94 countries worldwide. According to the 2021 THE Impact Rankings, 26 Thai universities have been ranked. The assessment criteria of the THE Impact Rankings are under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, of which the KPIs are cautiously calibrated to cover the KPIs that make positive impacts at the local, national, and international level in education, research, operation, and public participation. In this year, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi is the world’s 1st rank for SDG7, Affordable and Clean Energy, and the world’s 54th rank with the total score of 89.3% and Thailand’s 2nd rank.

SUNGKYUNKWAN UNIVERSITY: SKKU Signed a MOU with Ministry of SMEs and Startups

Share SKKU, along with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Pusan National University, Hanbat National University and Draper University, held a MOU signing ceremony for co-management of the joint graduate school of entrepreneurship at the 600 Anniversary Hall on March 3 (Friday). The event was attended by Dong-Ryeol Shin (president of SKKU), Jung-Hoon Cha (head of the startup venture innovation office of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups), Byung-Wook Choi (president of Hanbat National University), and Hong-Won Park (vice-president of Pusan National University). Asra Nadeem (president of Draper University) participated the event non-face-to-face using video conference system. With this agreement, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups will establish a support plan for the Joint Graduate School of Entrepreneurship and its operating expenses.
