A controversial report alleging a romantic affair between Nollywood star actress Genevieve Nnaji and the Managing Director of UBA, Phillip Oduoza has landed a blogger in jail.
Entertainment blogger Desmond Ike Chima was picked up by the Federal Criminal Investigation Department for the contentious report with the headline “Randy UBA MD, Phillips Oduoza In Adultery Mess, Romances Star Actress, Genevieve Nnaji.”
Chima who is the publisher of myemag.net and e-Nigeria.com has worked with several softsell magazines before before he became a blogger.
When his case came before an Igbosere high court, prosecutors said that Ike wrote the story to allegedly extort money from the UBA MD.

Malaysian police are investigating a Muslim woman for issuing threats of violence against the country’s Christians in a video posted online.
Dressed in a dun-colored hijab, the woman who called herself Puteri Mujahidah Wan Asshima Kamaruddin on Facebook, last week uploaded a 12-minute hate-filled rant pledging to “destroy” Christians if they dared use the word “Allah” to mean God.
Her video, which has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times and widely shared, had been uploaded in response to a ruling on March 10 by Malaysia’s High Court, which made it legal for non-Muslim Malaysians to use the word “Allah” as a synonym for God.

The Elegushi royal family in Lagos State has dragged to court the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed, and five others over an alleged plan to take over a land belonging to the family at the Eti Osa Local Government Area of the state.
Sued alongside the Nigeria police IG are Bela Vista Property and Development Company Limited; Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kolo Yusuf; DSP Ibrahim Agu; Supol Udofia and the Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice as the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th respondents respectively.
