ONE Championship: Battleground Results
The main event will put the spotlight on two of the best Muay Thai fighters in the world. Strawweight champion Sam-A Gaiyanghado looks to defend his belt against promotional newcomer Prajanchai. Both have made a name for themselves off Muay Thai, but their main difference comes in age. At 37 years old, Sam-A must hold off another young challenger with the title on the line.
In the co-headliner, N Sang takes on Leandro Ataides. After being a two-division champ, N Sang lost both of his titles to Reinier de Ridder in a span of six months. He now has the opportunity to start his journey back to a title shot. On the contrary, Ataides finds himself in a similar position. Ataides had won three straight fights before losing his last match-up against De Ridder. Both fighters want to get revenge on the champion, but only one can take the next step forward.

Juan Puerta (21-6) vs. Lloyd McKinney (14-7)
Combate’s latest transformation from Combate Americas to Combate Global has been accompanied by a regular set of late-night events. The latest, dubbed “Superfly,” features an interesting flyweight scrap between Juan Puerta and Lloyd McKinney.
The 33-year-old Puerta made his pro debut in a losing effort in 2011, and he ultimately went just 3-3 through his first six fights. Of course, the American Top Team Atlanta product’s record has improved since then. He reeled off five straight wins before suffering a knockout loss courtesy of Johnny Campbell. Another three victories followed, but then Puerta hit a rough patch in which he dropped back-to-back fights against Darren Mima and Jared Scoggins. Yet again, he has gotten back on track with 10 consecutive wins, including a finish of Gustavo Balart, a title victory over Kazbek Ashimov, and a decision nod over veteran Claudio Ledesma. Overall, “Leadfeather” has 11 submission finishes

First, she won the ONE kickboxing title. The Muay Thai crown followed. Now, Stamp Fairtex has her sights set on ONE’s women’s atomweight championship. Can she complete the hat trick? Only time will tell.
Stamp isn’t fighting for a belt at Friday’s
ONE Championship: Unbreakable III, but she needs to get past opponent Alyona Rassohyna to move one step closer to a crack at the gold. Thus far, Stamp is undefeated through five opponents in her MMA campaign. Only two of those foes come even close to half the experience that Ukraine’s Rassohyna will carry into the cage this weekend in Singapore. The 16-fight veteran is a skilled grappler, too, which could pose problems for a striker like Stamp.
