Written By: Leah Ward | × Hart EDGERTON A Twin Cities man is being held in the Pipestone County Jail after being arrested during the Hairball concert at the Edgerton Dutch Festival. The Pipestone County Sheriff s Office responded to a Saturday complaint that a large man was fighting people near the front of the crowd. When officers arrived, they reportedly observed several people holding down a man identified as Alexander Hart, 28, of Mound. One of the witnesses said Hart punched a woman in the face. When police attempted to arrest Hart, he allegedly began screaming at and spitting on the officers. He reportedly kicked an officer in the chest, causing the officer s taser holster to break and the taser to fly into the crowd. Hart then allegedly kicked a second officer in the chest, breaking the officer s microphone.

12:47 a.m. Sunday: 1600 block of Clary Street, Worthington. 12:12 p.m. Monday: 20000 block of Sundberg Avenue, Brewster, adult male who fell. Brewster Rescue and Sanford Ambulance dispatched. 12:37 p.m. Monday: 1000 block of Liberty Drive, Worthington, adult female bleeding from her foot. Crashes NCSO: hit and run, 10:11 p.m. Saturday, Read Avenue and 270th Street, Worthington. Fires 5:27 p.m. Saturday: hog barn fire, 30th Avenue and 21st Street, Jasper. The barn was a total loss. No animals were in the barn at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported at the scene. The Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office, Jasper Ambulance, Edgerton Fire Department, Pipestone Fire Department and Trent Fire Department responded.
