Bruce County is pleased to announce that the Journey Through the Ages and Stages project team has won an Ontario Municipal Social Services Association (OMSSA) Local Municipal Champion Award.
This award recognizes efforts and accomplishments in advancing excellence in human services integration and service system management by teams from Consolidated Municipal Services Managers (CMSMs) and District Social Services Administration Boards (DSSABs) across Ontario.
The project team was presented with the award at the 2021 Virtual OMSSA Exchange conference on May 11, and will be highlighted provincially through various news and social media outlets.

EVC of San Luis Obispo County starts drive to bring needed supplies to childcare programs

The Economic Vitality Corporation (EVC) of San Luis Obispo County is partnering with First 5 SLO County, the SLO County Child Care Planning Council, and the Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County (CAPSLO) to start a COVID-19 relief supply drive.
The supply drive will benefit nearly 300 local child care programs by collecting items including:
Disinfectant
CAPSLO CCRC Office (805-A Fiero Lane, San Luis Obispo)
SLO Chamber of Commerce (895 Monterey Street, San Luis Obispo)
Four SESLOC Federal Credit Union locations:
