Germany Wins Gold but Annabella Pidgley Steals the Show at 2021 European Junior Riders Championships Fri, 07/09/2021 - 01:54 2021 European Children, Junior, Young Riders Championships Germany won the team gold medal at the 2021 European Junior Riders Championships in Oliva Nova, Spain on Thursday 8 July 2021 but it was British Annabella Pidgley, who stole the show with the best ride of the day.  The Junior Rider Team Championship test came to a conclusion on Thursday morning with the second group of ridings competing in front of judges Elke Ebert (GER), Olivier Smeets (BEL), Magnus Ringmark(SWE), Hans Voser (SUI) and Alice Schwab (AUT). The class started early at 8 AM and the sun was shining back at full force although the temperatures did not climb over 30 ° C as they did on horse inspection day.

Emma-Lou Becca's Children's Ride Wyomi Passed Away

Fri, 01/29/2021 - 15:33 Luxembourg Luxembourg s Emma-Lou Becca said goodbye to her career starting, international Children s ride Wyomi. The mare was 20 years old. Wyomi was a Hanoverian mare by Weltmeyer out of Danny Lou (by Denberg x Fruhspecht). She was bred by Ludwig Penning. Germany The mare s competition career began in Germany in 2005 when she was first competed as a 4-year old by Heidi Egbert.  The combination was tighly knit and campaigned consistently at regional shows. In 2009 they moved up to small tour level and in 2012 they did their first Grand Prix tests. Luxembourg In 2013 the mare sold to Luxembourg and was first competed by Alexandra Hidien in April 2014 at Prix St Georges level before junior rider Emma-Lou Becca took on the ride.

European Children Medalist Happy Feet Moves on to Next Rider, Robin Dicker Thu, 12/31/2020 - 12:20 The Netherlands Former European Children Champion and serial children medalist Happy Feet has moved on to his sixth rider in four years time. With three riders he has competed at four European Children Championships, so far. Happy Feet is a rising 14-year old Dutch warmblood by Tuschinski out of Ereara (by Animo).  Biggest Success with Buijs Happy Feet s biggest successes, so far, were achieved with his first Children s rider, Sanne Buys.  Buys and Happy Feet made their international show debut at Children s level at the 2017 CDI Diepenbeek in July 2017. At the 2017 European Children s Championships in Roosendaal, they won team and individual gold.
