A&W and Mealshare still prove to have a strong partnership with Beyond Meat Burgers as new program item

Article content As of June 14, 2021, the A&W Mealshare Monday item officially swapped for the Beyond Meat Burger. For every Beyond Meat Burger that is sold on Mondays, one meal will go to a youth in need. As of June, the Peace River and Grimshaw A&W locations have shared a total of 497 meals, with the Peace River Salvation Army Food Bank providing local meals. The Fairview A&W location has provided 145 meals to youth in need, with the local meals being provided through the Fairview Food Bank Association. The partnership with A&W and Mealshare has shared 400,000 plus meals nationally to date and is on track to have shared half a million meals for the month of June. Since February the Mealshare program has added an additional 25 local charities to their program.
