AN 18-YEAR-OLD MALE has been charged with child abduction and other offences by the PSNI, in relation to a child rescue alert issued by An Garda Síochána yesterday.
The Child Rescue Ireland (CRI) alert was issued in the early hours of yesterday morning in relation to a 14-year-old girl who had gone missing from her home.
Late last night, Gardaí and the PSNI announced that she had been found “safe and well” in the Belfast area, and was to be reunited with her family later that night.

FAMILY members of Pfizer staff in Ireland are set to be offered a Covid-19 vaccine.
The move will extend to immediate family and household members of the some 4,000 Pfizer workers.

Immediate familiar members considered for the jab include parents, spouse, grandparents and children who are over 16.
Staff were informed of the plan earlier today with the family vaccinations set to start mid next month.
A Pfizer spokesperson confirmed the offer this evening and told RTE News that it will not impact the supply of vaccines from the company to the nation under the Government s vaccine roll-out plan.

14-year-old Svetlana Murphy has been found safe and well in Belfast.
A national Child Rescue Alert that has been in place all day has now been cancelled.
Svetlana is currently with the PSNI and will be reunited with her family tonight.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested.
Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance and appealed for the privacy of Svetlana’s family be respected.
