So, it was fitting that The Mill District was the site Sunday for a Winter Solstice Celebration, open house and grand opening of Provisions a store that offers fine wine, craft beer, cheese and other specialty food. Visitors also had the opportunity to greet author Angela Diterrlizzi and get a book signed; walk the Storywalk and read newly installed “Owl Moon” by Jane Yolen; snap a selfie at the new “What’s Your Story” mural; and chat with artist and University of Massachusetts Professor John Simpson and view his and his students’ artwork in the commercial space.
