Kulkarni tied the knot with Kunal Benodekar on the day of her birthday on Tuesday in Dubai. A few guests attended the ceremony, but the couple’s parents could not make it to the wedding. They were supposed to get married in July, but they surprised everybody with the news of their marriage.
The event was a low-key affair, keeping in the mind the current pandemic situation. “We had actually planned to get married in the
United Kingdom in June, but our marriage was postponed to July due to the second wave of COVID-19 and the availability of venue,” said Kulkarni. “In preparation for the wedding, I finished shooting in March and came to Dubai, but then the second wave hit India and we got stuck in Dubai,” she added.
