There was the day they got personally escorted backstage at the All-Star Café after boxing at Madison Square Garden – by the famed heavyweight champion boxer Lennox Lewis, himself – for a VIP meet-and-greet. Dan was just a teen, but it seems like yesterday.

The Delaware Tech softball squad moved to 10-2 on the season after defeating Montgomery County Community College and Community College Baltimore County - Catonsville in twin doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday at their Georgetown campus.
The ladies of Del Tech scored a 19-0 win in the opening game with Montgomery County Community College and followed with a 19-0 second-game victory. They kept the bats hot on Sunday with an 11-1 win in game one with CCBC-Catonsville and 11-0 in the second. Del Tech outscored their opponents 60-1 on the weekend.

Lorenzo Taliaferro, former running back for the Baltimore Ravens, has died of a heart attack in his native Virginia at just 28. His death was announced by the York-Poquoson Sheriff s Office Wednesday night without revealing a cause. However, a family member told Fox Baltimore that Taliaferro had died from a heart attack. Earlier today, December 16, 2020, at approximately 3.07 pm Deputies were dispatched to the 100 Block of Windsor Lane for a call of someone needing medical attention, the York-Poquoson Sheriff s Office said in a statement. Medics also arrived and transported the patient to a local hospital where he later passed away. Lorenzo Taliaferro was 28 years old. We cannot release any medical information. Our sincere condolences, thoughts, and prayers go out to his family and friends.
