San Francisco has a long history of discovery from the Gold Rush to the tech revolution. The city also has a history of embracing people-centered social justice. It makes sense, then, that faculty at San Francisco State University (SFSU) would want to combine the two as we explore the implications of one of the next frontiers of discovery: artificial intelligence.

Hundreds more schools have been praised by parents in Greater Manchester for their efforts to help children during lockdown. Yesterday we revealed a list of more than 100 schools that mums, dads and grandparents said had gone above and beyond to support pupils and families.
We knew plenty more were worthy of similar praise and after asking parents to share the details, we ve been inundated with hundreds of comments.
