GHAZIABAD: The state government has given its nod for the office of the deputy registrar of firms, chits and societies to function in Ghaziabad and Noida.
It is mandatory for residents’ bodies to be registered with the office and in the absence of a centre in Noida and Ghaziabad, people have to travel all the way to Meerut for any work related to such groups.
The state government order issued on July 1 says that two days in a week, the office of the deputy registrar of firms, chits and societies will operate in Noida and once a week, it will function in Ghaziabad.
