Disney Channel Original Movie remake Under Wraps sets its cast
Disney Channel Original Movies were a staple for many kids growing up in the 90s and 00s. It all began in 1997 with the Halloween film titled
Under Wraps and the mummy-focused kid’s movie is now getting a remake with a new re-imagining of the story.
Christian J. Simon, Malachi Barton, Sophia Hammons, and Phil Wright will star in the comedy. The new version will still focus on a mummy and will be set around Halloween.
As per Deadline,
Under Wraps “takes place a few days before Halloween when 12-year-old friends Gilbert (Simon), Marshall (Barton), and Amy (Hammons) accidentally revive a mummy they discover in a neighbor’s basement which they affectionately name Harold (Wright). However, they must rush to return him to his resting place before midnight on Halloween.
