Westminster Street, Yeovil, to be closed while refresh work starts

A ROAD in the centre of a Somerset town will be closed during the summer so improvement works can take place. Westminster Street in Yeovil will be the first area in the town where improvement work is set to take place under the Yeovil Refresh scheme. The scheme will help to improve the look of the town centre for shoppers, businesses, residents and workers. With an anticipated start date of June 28 2021, Midas Group (who are undertaking the work) will be applying to Somerset County Council for a complete closure of Westminster Street with a diversion route to be put in place.
