'This shouldn't have happened': NOPD Police Chief Shaun Ferguson responding to rise in violent crime

New Orleans Police Department reported nine homicides, 23 non-fatal shootings and fifteen armed robberies in the past two weeks. The latest murder, a woman stabbed to death Tuesday morning during a carjacking in the Seventh Ward. Portia Pollock's family confirmed she was on her way to work when the attack happened. Pollock's vehicle was reported missing from the scene. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored 2016 Honda HRV bearing Louisiana.

Luckily, Banks says there were no weapons in the car, but keys were stolen.
