Keaton Stone is the definition of consistency. On the football field he’s an iron man, one who never seemed to come off the field. That in turn helped Stone and the Cody Bronc Football team capture a state title. The trophies don’t stop there. Over the weekend Stone was named to the first team of the Casper Star-Tribune Super 25 as one of the best players in the state of Wyoming. He along with Nic Talich combined to be one of the most lethal linebacker duos the Cowboy State had to offer. I was able to catch up with Cody’s Linebacker/Tight End to talk to him about the first team selection and more. Stone on what it means to be recognized as one of the top 25 player in the state.

Nic Talich has received two Defensive Player of the year awards for his play on the gridiron this last season. Earlier in the off-season he was named the 3A West DPOY. Over the weekend it was announced Talich was named the Casper Star-Tribune Super 25 DPOY, in addition to making first team. The Super 25 honors the best high school football players in Wyoming, regardless of class or position. Not a bad way to cap off a stellar career that also saw him win a State Football Championship. I was able to catch up with Talich to talk to him about the Super 25 DPOY and first team honor. Talich on what it means to receive that accolade.
