Court documents allege Luebbers was killed hours after suspect was released from jail

One day after two people were charged with the murder of a woman in Schuyler Falls, new details are coming to light in the case. Investigators with New York State Police confirmed Thursday both suspects in the alleged murder of 46-year-old Crisie Luebbers were released from jail just hours before her death. Her body was found Tuesday at a residence on Blake Road by authorities following up on a missing person report. Police arrested 37-year-old Craig Foster, of Keeseville, and 42-year-old Nicole Cayea, of Schuyler Falls, in connection to the death. Both face one count of second-degree murder and a count of grand larceny for allegedly stealing Luebbers s car. Arrest records show Foster and 44-year-old Joel Cayea were arrested June 30 by state police on a controlled substance charge. They were arraigned and released. Court documents allege that Luebbers was killed by Foster and an Nicole Cayea at roughly 1 a.m. on July 1, just hours after the release. Police said her death was no
