Friday: The Pittsburgh North chapter of the Women’s Business Network will meet at 9 a.m. online. Those attending can learn how the group supports the success and growth of women in business. Meetings are the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Reservations required.

April 24: Freeport Area Library is accepting donations of usable household items, new and used books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, games and toys for a flea market sale. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, noon to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.

Health Foundation to give away hams, potatoes
Allegheny-Kiski Health Foundation will distribute free ham and potatoes this month.
The giveaway is limited to the first 100 individuals in need who phone the foundation to register at 724-294-3157 and provide their name, phone number and email address. Registration is limited to one ham and five-pound bag of potatoes per family per phone call. Registrants will be given instructions as to when, where and how the food will be distributed and must arrange for transportation to the distribution site.

Online resume and interview workshops scheduled
Pennsylvania CareerLink Alle-Kiski will offer workshops on Zoom.us for those needing help with resumes and interviewing.
A workshop about resumes will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and an interviewing workshop will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., both March 17. Sue Diehl will be the instructor.
