KUALA LUMPUR: The man who allegedly murdered a workshop owner over a payment for car tyres had tried to use a fake bank slip to pay for the tyres.
The 69-year-old victim s daughter, Loh Kwai Yee, said the man had originally used a fake bank slip to pay off the RM1,100 he owed her father for the purchased tyres before paying around RM500.
“My father has dealt with him before and around Christmas Eve, the man purchased the tyres while promising the rest of the payment later.
“On Dec 29, I overheard my father arguing with someone over the phone to pay for car tyres.
