LCU commencement ceremonies set for Friday, Saturday

The Lubbock Christian University graduation ceremonies scheduled for Dec. 12, 2020 will happen during the regular spring commencement ceremonies this Friday and Saturday at LCU s Rip Griffin Center.
Because of the need to social distance and comply with city and state requirements, each graduate will receive eight guest tickets, according to a statement from LCU.
There will be two undergraduate ceremonies on Saturday - one at 10 a.m. and one at 2 p.m.
The graduate commencement will be at 7 p.m. Friday.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - This week, itâs a challenge with two of our areaâs State Championship teams: Brownfield & Lubbock Christian. Unfortunately, Southcrest Christian & the Lubbock Titans were unable to make the challenge.
We had a 4 corner three-point challenge out at the Rip Griffin Center.
My team took on Brownfield and then Lubbock Christian. The winners would meet for the Challenge Championship provided my team didnât win both matches. That was doubtful.
