The latest entry in the time loop genre is The Map of Tiny Perfect Things and while two time loopers falling in love is very similar to Palm Springs, it’s sort of a mash-up of Groundhog Day and the young people walk and talk philosophically about life of Before Sunrise. There are bits where this movie seems a bit too enamoured of its concept of finding perfect moments, but it provides some cool twists in the time loop genre and the chemistry of the two leads carries a lot.
