Based on the application submitted this week, the Vancouver-based biotechnology company is proposing to redevelop 110 West 4th Avenue a half block site at the southwest corner of Manitoba Street and West 4th Avenue, currently occupied by A&B Partytime Rentals into a 151-ft-tall, nine-storey building with 221,343 sq ft of total floor area.
It will be designated as the rapidly growing company’s global headquarters.

O’Donnell is a relatively new addition to the city, as she first took on the role of deputy director of the department in March 2019.
Prior to her time in Vancouver, she served various roles with the City of Dallas over the span of nearly two decades, including the director of planning, interim assistant city manager, and chief resilience officer.
She was also the director of planning and development for Las Vegas, Nevada and Arlington, Texas.

One of the most contentious development-permit fights in recent Vancouver history occurred over a parking lot at 105 Keefer Street.
In the latest chapter, Beedie (Keefer Street) Holdings Ltd. won a concession from B.C. s highest court to let it file applications for judicial orders, These can be sought to force the city to produce documents and allow for the cross-examination of witnesses.
