MEMBERS of a foundation set up in memory of an inspirational man who died aged 24 are continuing to carry out community work despite the coronavirus lockdown. Anna Haggart, from Livesey, and her sister Gill Garvin started the Shaun Haggart Foundation nearly a decade ago in memory of Anna’s son Shaun who died in 2010. Shaun, who died while undergoing a 53rd operation on chronic heart and bowel problems was described as an ‘inspirational’ community worker. Anna, 52, who works as a cook in a rehabilitation unit, wanted to keep her son s memory alive, so set up the foundation to help the community.
