The Prairie Home Music Department presented its Christmas Program on Dec. 15.
The kindergarten class got things going with “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer” by Johnny Marks and “Jingle Bells” arranged by T. and P. Jennings.
The first, second, and third grades combined for “A Holiday of Music” and “Listen to the Jingles” both by Teresa Jennings. The kindergarten came back to join the older students for a rousing rendition of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” arranged by Teresa Jennings.
Fourth grade played recorders. Their selections, both by John Riggio, were “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen” and “Fum, Fum, Fum. The fifth and sixth grade handbells performed two more Riggio arrangements, “Good King Wenceslas” and “Deck the Halls.

Clarksville, TN – On behalf of our First Baptist Clarksville Downtown, Kirkwood, Hispanic, and Korean campuses, we want to inform you that we will temporarily transition to an online format for the remainder of the year including our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service and into the New Year.
COVID-19 Coronavirus
Please understand that we did not make this decision lightly. But, in light of Tennessee Governor Bill Lee’s executive order, guidance from local authorities, and the overwhelming burden our healthcare workers face, we believe the wisest decision is to make this temporary transition.

Community Presbyterian Church

Christmas Eve Services: 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 24. These services are in-person. Masks are required.
Expedition Church
Christmas Eve Services: 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 24.
Mount Cross Lutheran Church

Online worship available for Christmas Eve. Services can be found on the Mount Cross Facebook page. Currently, there is also an in person service planned at 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 24, but with the rapidly spreading virus, that may be canceled.
