Wicked Local A Stoughton man tied into an overdose death was sentenced March 9 in federal court in Boston for distributing fentanyl and crack cocaine. Matthew Pizarro, 32, was sentenced by U.S. Senior District Court Judge Rya W. Zobel to 10 years in prison and eight years of supervised release. In November 2019, Pizarro pleaded guilty to two counts of distribution of fentanyl, one count of distribution of 40 grams or more of fentanyl and one count of possession with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of crack cocaine.
