SKIPTON Knights took on one of the strongest teams in the Merit League at the weekend and came out on top. The Akkies- a well-established club who play out of Leeds Mods RUFC, just like the Knights came with a big squad but player /coach Darren Greenwood knew how key defence would be on the day. The game started with the Knights completing their sets and putting pressure on the Akkies backline. On the fifth and last kick from Josh Nkwo, the ball bounced off an Akkies player s hands and straight in to the hands of Chris Stead to powered over and Dean Barritt converted the two.

After rumours of a successor to the Nintendo Switch circulated for over a year, Nintendo has finally revealed its brand new console.
While users were expecting the release of a Nintendo Switch Pro , the new model is actually titled Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) and, while it does boast improvements over its predecessor, it s not as impressive as we were led to believe.
According to a report by Bloomberg, the new Switch was to host a range of enticing features such as an improved battery life and the ability to render at 4K when in docked mode.
In reality, the OLED includes few advancements over the original model.

On March 14, 2020, when Vail Resorts announced it would be closing its North American ski resorts for a week, some started to wonder if the ski areas would reopen at all.
A few days later, when Vail Resorts announced its mountains would remain closed, some started to wonder if the ski areas could even pull off this season. The fight to open for 2020-21 began right then and there, and it was an uphill battle the whole way.
Kyle Miner was working for Vail Resorts as a shop supervisor at the time, it was his first season in Vail. The 23-year-old came to the area hoping for an opportunity to start a new life out West. He picked the wrong year.
In 2013, Andres Branco launched a Facebook group for friends to sell vintage designer streetwear. More curated and personal than eBay or Depop, he named the group Wavey Garms, and sellers were soon meeting up to exchange the items in their local areas, while avoiding fees and the hassle of using a third party auction site.
Three months after the launch, things began to take off. “Thousands of people began joining the group every week,” Branco explains, “and I thought ‘Fuck this, this might be a proper job rather than me just flogging my old Stone Island jackets’. I have quite a strong opinion on fashion, even though I’m not from a fashion background, and I think that really shaped Wavey Garms.”
