Brian Ruhlmann had a dream. Growing up in Concord and cheering on the Boston Red Sox, he saw himself becoming the next Theo Epstein, the former Sox and Chicago Cubs general manager who brought World Series titles to both cities after decades of striking out.
His dream didn’t pan out the way he hoped. But the Concord-Carlisle Regional High School graduate may have hit a home run with his latest venture.
Ruhlmann is the owner of Craic Sauce, a hot sauce company based in Lowell he founded in 2017. Craic – pronounced “crack” – is an Irish word that means a good time or fun. That wound up being the focus of the business.
