The Boscobel Chamber of Commerce presented its 2020 Citizen of the Year Award on Saturday with a parade and caravan past the home of the winner’s family, where everyone was gathered outside to accept the award on his behalf. Emcee Karl Krogen presented the award and had these words to share with the family:
Wallin-Kapinus hired as new Boscobel Schools Administrator The Boscobel School Board has hired Lisa Wallin-Kapinus as the district’s new administrator, effective July 1.
BOSCOBEL - The Boscobel School Board has hired Lisa Wallin-Kapinus as the district’s new administrator, effective July 1. Wallin-Kapinus was among three candidates interviewed on Jan. 21. She was offered the two-year contract last Tuesday and accepted it last Thursday, Jan. 28.
“I am excited about the opportunity to serve in the Boscobel Area School District,” she said. “My educational career started with the Boscobel District in 1995 when the district game me the opportunity to be a student teacher in the elementary. I am truly honored to have another opportunity to serve the district as the district administrator.
