Chioma Akpotha: I m more than just a Face for Crown Premium Pasta

Crown Flour Mill Fortification Compliance Efforts Get Global Commendation

In recognition of its efforts and investments in food fortification and infrastructure, culminating in Nigeria’s first state-of-the-art vitamin premix facility, Crown Flour Mill Limited (CFM), the flour milling subsidiary of Olam Nigeria, an agribusiness conglomerate, has received widespread commendation for consistently delivering highly fortified, quality and affordable food staples that meet global standards and improve public health. This assertion was made at a Food Fortification webinar, organised by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, the flour milling company has successfully ramped up its food processing methodology through quality partnership and acquisition of a state-of-the-art premix facility to provide food products that improve the health of the Nigerian population.

Hamid Ayodeji Crown Flour Mill Limited (CFM), a subsidiary of Olam Nigeria, has reiterated its promise to continue to collaborate with other stakeholders within the wheat value chain in order to sustain value proposition in the sector. Managing Director, CFM, Ashish Pande, who was represented by Corporate Affairs Manager, Olam Nigeria, Damilola Adeniyi, pointed out that the rising consumption of wheat derivative foods in the country has stimulated further job opportunities at the production, processing, distribution, warehousing and retailing levels of the wheat value chain. This assurance was given recently, when a senior management team from CFM paid the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, a courtesy visit in Abuja.
