ENDICOTT (WBNG) Saturday friends and family members of Lisa Iannone gathered at Cinema Saver in the Village of Endicott to celebrate her life with the unveiling of a mural in her honor. Iannone was diagnosed with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) when she was 27-years-old. Ten years later she received a double lung transplant. Lisa Iannone passed away in December 2020. Friends and loved ones remember Lisa by her larger-than-life personality and her love for her hometown. Iannone s best friend Carrie Ruckhardt said Lisa was a fighter and never gave up hope. Where we got the hashtag Live Like Lisa is that she just always conquered anything that was put in her path, Ruckhardt said. She did so fearlessly, positively, she wanted people to understand what it was like to live with a terminal diagnosis and to truly live to not give up.
