AN APPEAL has been out after cash was stolen during a burglary at a hotel in Kirkby Stephen. Cumbria Constabulary say the incident happened on May 10 between 1.27am and 1.30am at the Kings Arms Hotel, on Market Street. A spokesman for the force said: Two unknown males have entered the premises and taken an amount of cash. Officers are appealing for anyone saw two males in the area at this time or have CCTV or dashcam footage that would cover the area. Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident ring police on 101 quoting log number 24 of May 10, 2021. Alternatively call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 11.
