The Town of Vulcan is moving ahead with a proposal to lower the residential speed limit in town to 40 kilometres per hour.
Council carried a motion April 12 directing administration to draft the necessary amendments to the traffic bylaw to accommodate the lowering of the residential speed limit in the Town of Vulcan to 50 kilometres per hour from 40. The proposed changes will be brought back to a future meeting for council’s consideration.
