On a day of extreme speed, Screen Test found the biggest winning performance of his life with a 1:53.4 romp in the featured pace Sunday afternoon (July 18) at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway.
In line to Corey MacPherson in the $3,100 Preferred Pace, Screen Test went to the front from post 6 and was unchallenged for the duration of the mile on his way to a seven-length victory for a lifetime best. Power Of A Cruiser was second while Moonwriter was third. Ron Gass trains the winning horse for owners Kickin Horse Stable of York and William Andrew of Alberta.
The Kyles Williams stable was perfect on the afternoon card as the Tyne Valley conditioner sent horses to the gate in three races and won every event. Offshore Cowboy kicked off the action in Race 1 in line to Gilles Barrieau in a 1:59.1 win followed by a 1:59 lifetime best performance by Howmacs Hank (MacPherson) in Race 3. Williams and Barrieau reunited in Race 6 as Ruby Rae Crow had her first career win in 1:59.4.

Taking a textbook two-hole ride, Woodmere Skyroller surged forward to capture the Fillies & Mares Open Pace on Saturday (Jan. 9) at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The Atlantic Champion pacing mare sat the two hole in her $2,900 assignment while watching pacesetter Woodmere Chella (Corey MacPherson) go through splits of :29.1, 1:00.1 and 1:30. Driver Gilles Barrieau then pointed Woodmere Skyroller out of her two-hole ride in the stretch drive to win by a length in 1:59. Woodmere Chella was second while Filly Forty Seven (Jason Hughes) was third.
The four-year-old daughter of Rollwithitharry is trained by Kevin MacLean for Reg MacPherson of Stratford.
