AN application has been made to the Listed Buildings Advisory Committee Baptist Union of Great Britain for a certificate of authorisation in relation to the grade II-listed Kington Baptist Church. The work proposed is to divide the existing site and building to separate halls from the church sanctuary and facilitate the sale of the halls for conversion to two homes by others. COUNTY planners have rejected plans for a Lidl supermarket, new medical centre and children’s nursery on the outskirts of Ledbury. Deeley Properties and Countrywide Farmers wanted to develop the 3.9 acres worth of grazing land south of Leadon Way and east of Dymock Road.
