Food insecurities reached an unprecedented height last summer and the effects are continuing to be felt today.
Schools, churches, non-profits, and others reached out to the communities in need, making do with what they had.
Onslow County continues to offer options to address hunger through various programs and volunteers, with one, in particular, adding its own spin cafe style.
Kingdom Culture Church has been working on an idea to address the community s food insecurities since Hurricane Florence. The storm brought forth damages to the church that derailed their initial plans but at the beginning of January, that idea came to fruition.
