A previous report noted the price could range from $13,5000 to $20,000. A most recent meeting of the board of education clarified the cost of services. ADRIAN The process of updating school policy and student handbook information could begin after today s meeting of the Adrian Public Schools Board of Education. The school board could approve a purchase and business agreement with Thrun Law Firm of East Lansing, after the firm informed the board some of its handbook policies might not be up to date with state regulations.

But with students having been separated from school support systems for so long, a new council is tasked with examining how the state can help students recover. The new Student Recovery Advisory Council, comprised of 29 members with a variety of educational, medical and labor backgrounds, will make recommendations on how to help students recover. Those recommendations will include addressing students’ academic, physical and mental well-being.
