Children co-pilot flights at Aviation Summer camp

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green – Warren County Regional Airport spent the day teaching kids the joy of all things flying.
The airport in conjunction with the Aviation Museum of Kentucky is in the middle of their week-long Annual Aviation Summer camp.
On Wednesday, 36 students spent the day learning aircraft instruments, engine and aircraft design, using aeronautical maps for navigation, flight planning, weather, NASA space, aviation careers, practicing take offs and landings with a flight simulator and most importantly, the students will actually assist in flying a real airplane with an FAA Certified Flight Instructor.

Two Isle of Wight sea eagles have been visiting Wiltshire s Longleat Safari Park (Main image by Caleb Hall) One of the Isle of Wight s white-tailed eagles has become a regular visitor to Longleat Safari Park, with a second also putting in an appearance. G405 is one of the birds released by the Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation and although she has the freedom to roam anywhere she pleases, it seems her interest lies with the animals at the safari park in Wiltshire. She has become a familiar sight for keepers at the attraction. Trackers fitted to the eagles have also revealed that male eagle, G461, has also visited the safari park.
