All hail! The brand-new 2021 BMW G82 M4 is available in a manual transmission. In “base” form, the all-new M4 uses a 3.0 liter S58 in-line 6 turbocharged six cylinder cranking out an impressive 473 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. If you want an M4 Competition with the 503 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, you are only gonna get it with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Motoring enthusiasts have long been drunk wanting more power for cars, along with the battle cry that a true sports car has to have a manual transmission.

If you want to distract from the BMW M3 s grille, you ll want to go with the most eye-popping and perhaps even garish combination possible. For that, we recommend the Dakar Yellow paint with double-spoke style Orbit Grey Matt wheels on the outside and Yas Marina Blue and Black Carbon Sports seats on the inside. We ve topped the interior off with Aluminium Tetragon trim.
Paint options range from a couple of free options like Alpine White and San Paulo Yellow and can rise to $3,600 for the upmarket metallic options. Upgrading the wheels costs $1,300. Trim options top out at $1,080, and upholstery options range from no-cost options to $2,550. The Carbon Bucket Seats cost an extra $3,800.
It’s here. Well, it’s coming to Australia soon. The beastly new BMW M5 CS. This is the first Club Sport version of the iconic sports sedan ever, and it becomes the most powerful production car BMW has ever made.
The M5 CS follows in the footsteps of the M3 and M4 CS, and more recently the M2 CS. Lightness and the removal of unnecessary luxuries is the main philosophy, and of course maximum power. Some unique revisions are also made to the interior and exterior to help it stand out from the regular model.
Power comes from a tuned and tweaked version of the M5’s 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, so now it produces a colossal 467kW and 750Nm. This is sent through an eight-speed automatic with a switchable RWD/AWD system. In its peak settings, the sedan offers a blisteringly-quick 0-100km/h time of just 3.0 seconds. It also does 0-200km/h in a claimed 10.4 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 305km/h.
