It s been over a year since Disneyland Resort closed down due to the global pandemic, but the end is in sight. Both theme parks are set to reopen, as actual theme parks, at the end of the month. But as we ve expected all along, things are going to be quite different compared to the way Disneyland used to operate. The park will only be able to allow a fraction of the normal number of guests, but with what is sure to be pent-up demand, especially among locals, those comparatively few tickets are sure to be in high demand. Now Disneyland has released all the details on how to get those tickets, and what you ll be able to do inside the parks once you have them.

There are still no rides operating at the parks, but Disneyland has announced a major new development: In March, Disney California Adventure will offer an “all new, limited-time ticketed experience” focusing on food and wine, according to a letter Disneyland President Ken Potrock sent to Cast Members, Disney’s term for its employees, on Feb. 8. That day also marked the 20th anniversary of the opening of California Adventure.

Walt Disney basically changed the world in 1955 when he built Disneyland. While Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney World as a whole has since taken over the title of the biggest and most popular theme park resort in the world, there s something simply iconic when it comes to that original location.
