The Lincoln Land Community College Culinary Institute is partnering with three Springfield restaurants to offer curbside pickup dinners.
Mardi Gras Dinner on the Run will be available Feb. 16 at Brunchfield Café, 751 S. Durkin Dr.
Maldaner’s Dinner will be available March 4 at 222 S. Sixth St. while the Luminary Kitchen and Provision Dinner will be April 6 at 3121 Hedley Dr.
Cost is $55 per serving.
Wine pairing recommendations will be provided by The Corkscrew Wine Emporium and It’s All About Wine.
Bistro Verde, LLCC s student-led restaurant, will not be open this spring due to COVID-19 dining capacity restrictions. It plans to reopen in the fall of 2021.

For many of us this year, “Home Alone” will be how we celebrate New Year’s Eve. It has been a crazy year, and who would have thought a top resolution for 2021 would be to get a vaccination?
Carol and I normally gather with a few other couples to dine, play some games and watch the ball drop in Times Square on television. This year it will be two of us, enjoying a local chef-prepared curbside dinner, Zooming with other family members, champagne toasting (probably earlier Eastern Time), the ball drop, shaking our noisemakers, and throwing paper streamers.
