3.0 quake 27 Apr 8:50 pm (GMT -5)
The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 3.0 quake in the United States near Fort Stockton, Pecos County, Texas, only 27 minutes ago. The earthquake hit in the evening on Tuesday 27 April 2021 at 8:50 pm local time at a very shallow depth of 2.1 miles. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 2.8.
