Marr leads Consortium of Undergraduate International Business Education Conference

Boise State News May 24, 2021 Jack Marr The 2021 spring conference for the Consortium of Undergraduate International Business Education (CUIBE) was co-hosted by Boise State’s College of Business and Economics and the University of Wyoming’s College of Business. Led by Jack Marr, clinical assistant professor at Boise State, and University of Wyoming College of Business Dean David Sprott, the theme of this year’s conference was “Rethinking Global Capitalism: A View from the Mountain West.” The event was originally planned to be held in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, as a halfway point between the two universities. The in-person event was canceled due to COVID, so Marr and Sprott hosted a virtual, three-day conference with more than 80 participants.

Idaho organization holding fundraiser climbing competition between first responders

KXLY May 9, 2021 3:25 PM Connor Sarles Courageous Kids Climbing MCCALL, Idaho Idaho organization Courageous Kids Climbing will hold a fundraiser climbing competition between first responders this June. The competition will raise funds for Courageous Kids Climbing, which provides opportunities for people with special needs to experience rock climbing for free. It will be held Saturday, June 12 from 1–5 p.m. at the Commons Climbing Gym in Boise. First responders, active or retired, can apply to compete and groups can form teams to represent a specific agency. This includes firefighters, police officers, emergency medical crews, search and rescue, ski patrol workers and others.
