TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - The National Weather Service in Tucson issued a flash flood warning late on Monday, July 12 for Northeastern Pima County.
The NWS Tucson said heavy rain produced by thunderstorms during the evening could flood roads, urban areas and creeks. The flood could be life threatening, according to NWS Tucson.
Areas under the flash flood warning include Tucson, Drexel Heights, Three Points, Avra Valley, Pascua Pueblo Yaqui Reservation, Tucson Estates, Saguaro National Park West, Valencia West, Tucson International Airport, Summit, Picture Rocks, San Pedro, Queens Well, Santa Rosa Ranch, Ryan AirField, Silver Bell and San Xavier Mission.
