I’m reminded of the Joni Mitchell song when she sang, “They paved paradise and put up a parking lot” when I read of the long rumored conversion of the venerable Cape Cod Country Club.
Falmouth has a lot to offer to its citizens and visitors alike in a kind of compact that insures a quality of life that all have come to expect. Cape Cod Country Club has been a big part of that for a long time. Its unique history and associated uses have long been well known by folks in this part of the Cape. The historical Falmouth Playhouse played its part in that for decades.
